REVIEW: Morphe brushes SET 690

by - Sunday, June 10, 2018

Good afternoon. How are you? Yesterday I went to the Harry Potter exhibition in Milan and the next week I'll publish a blog post about it!! It was a wonderful day.
With the time some brushes tend to get damaged, lose bristles or become rough so I need some new brushes. Since I always like to try new brands I decided to not buy other Real Techniques or Sigma brushes but try a different brand so I chose Morphe (as I wanted the 15D palette for a long time).

Buon pomeriggio. Come state?

At the first time, I wasn't impressed, the bristles were very soft but trying them on the skin looked rough. Fortunately, after washing them and using the brushes a few times the bristles are now very soft.

Eye brushes

The 690 set features 6 brushes: 3 for the face and 3 for the eyes. Let's start with those for the eyes: a pen one, a large blending one and an angle one. I use them for eye shadows but they can also be used to blend the concealer. The brushes are soft and blend the product easily but personally, I find that they are a bit too large, I prefer the classic base shadow brush by Real Techniques.

Face brushes

The three face brushes are instead: 1 with dense bristles, 1 angled and 1 large pointed. These are definitely my favorites, especially the angled one because it has very soft bristles and allows you to apply the foundation lightly. I use them for the application of foundation, concealer but also for powder (the pointed one).

Price - Prezzo: €19
