Today is a wonderful day and I couldn't wait to dedicate some time to the blog. Meanwhile, I have new ideas for some reels that will be online soon. As you well know years ago when LookFantastic had just arrived in Italy I had the opportunity to try their Beauty Boxes. Since I hadn't tried them for a while but didn't want to subscribe, I bought a Mystery Beauty Box.
Oggi è una splendida giornata e non vedevo l'ora di dedicare un po' di tempo al blog. Nel mentre ho nuove idee per alcuni reel che saranno online prossimamente. Come ben sapete anni fa quando era appena arrivato LookFantastic in Italia ho avuto modo di provare le loro Beauty Box. Visto che era da un bel po' che non le provavo ma non volevo abbonarmi ho provato ad acquistare una Mystery Beauty Box.
What's a Mystery Beauty Box?
LookFantastic offers new monthly Beauty Boxes. In order to not waste the unsold ones, they decided to sell them for less. In this way, you will not know which box of the previous months you will be able to receive. For example, I received the January one. On the LookFantastic website, there are 3 mystery boxes and they cost €15 with a minimum value of €55. But let's see together the 6 products I received.
LookFantastic ogni mese propone delle nuove Beauty Box. Per non sprecare quelle invendute hanno deciso di venderle a meno. In questo modo non saprai quale box dei mesi precedenti potrai ricevere. Io ad esempio, ho ricevuto quella di gennaio. Sul sito LookFantastic ci sono 3 mystery box e costano 15€ con un valore minimo di 55€. Ma vediamo insieme i 6 prodotti che ho ricevuto.
So Eco - Foundation Sponge | €6,95
As I love the Real Techniques sponge for applying my makeup, it's always nice to be able to test new ones! I have often tried many of various different brands but they are hard and don't become soft after absorbing the water. The Beauty Blender is great, but for the cost, it is not worth it. I liked this one from So Eco a lot because it's soft and is great for applying foundation lightly. I can't wait to test it over the months to see how it performs with lots of washes.
Da grande amante della spugnetta per applicare il makeup di Real Techniques è sempre bello poterne testare di nuove! Spesso ne ho provate molte di varie marche diverse ma sono dure e non diventano morbide dopo aver assorbito l'acqua. La Beauty Blender è ottima, ma per il costo che ha non ne vale minimamente la pena. Questa di So Eco mi è piaciuta molto perché è morbida ed è ottima per applicare il fondotinta in modo leggero. Non vedo l'ora di testarla nei mesi per vedere come si comporta con molti lavaggi.
Starskin - Hand Mask | €10,45
Lately, I don't know if it's been the heat of summer or the change of season now, my hands are incredibly dry! I never had something like this. This hand mask was a life-saver. It acts to repair and soften even the driest skin, with an emollient effect even on the cuticles. Just keep it for 15-20 minutes (you can even use your smartphone!) to have the skin deeply nourished.
Ultimamente, non so se sia stato il caldo dell'estate o il cambio di stagione adesso, ho le mani incredibilmente secche! Ma mai avute così. Questa maschera per le mani è stata una salvezza. Agisce per riparare e ammorbidire anche la pelle più screpolata, con un effetto emolliente anche sulle cuticole. Basta tenerla per 15-20 minuti (e utilizzare pure lo smartphone!) per avere la pelle nutrita in profondità.
SVR - Light Intense Moisturizing Cream | €16,95
I have heard so much about this brand but I've never had the opportunity to try their products. This cream despite being intense as for the nourishment of the skin is incredibly light. The texture is fresh and it takes very little to have incredibly hydrated skin in an instant.
Ho sentito tantissimo parlare di questo brand ma non ho mai avuto l'occasione di provare i loro prodotti. Questa crema nonostante sia intensa come per quanto riguarda il nutrimento della pelle è incredibilmente leggera. La consistenza è fresca e ne basta pochissimo per avere una pelle incredibilmente idratata in un istante.
VERSO - Eye Cream | €46,95
I'm honest, I've never heard of this brand so for me it was a great discovery (especially the price now that I've looked for it!!!). This anti-aging moisturizing eye cream provides instant, long-term nourishment to the delicate skin around the eyes, ensuring a strong skin barrier and a high level of hydration. The thing I liked most about this cream is the rich texture where often the eye creams are very light but this is fantastic because it hydrates a lot. In my opinion, it's perfect for the winter time.
Sono sincera, non ho mai sentito parlare di questo brand quindi per me è stata una bellissima scoperta (soprattutto il prezzo ora che l'ho cercato!!!). Questa crema contorno occhi idratante anti-età fornisce nutrimento istantaneo e a lungo termine alla pelle delicata che circonda gli occhi, garantendo una robusta barriera cutanea e un alto livello di idratazione. La cosa che mi è piaciuta di più di questa crema è la texture ricca dove spesso le creme contorno occhi sono molto leggere invece questa è fantastica perché idrata davvero tanto, secondo me perfetta per l'inverno.
Grow Gorgeous - Overnight Hair Mask | €30
The first time I tried a Grow Gorgeous hair mask was thanks to LookFantastic's 2018 advent calendar! I had never tried such a wonderful mask that left a fabulous scent on the hair. It was truly something sensational. I probably won't be able to try it overnight but I can try it on a weekend or day when I work from home and keep it from morning to night. I can not wait!
La prima volta che ho provato una maschera per i capelli di Grow Gorgeous è stata grazie al calendario dell'avvento di LookFantastic del 2018! Non avevo mai provato una maschera così meravigliosa e che lasciasse un profumo favoloso ai capelli. Era davvero qualcosa di sensazionale. Probabilmente non riuscirò a provarla durante la notte ma posso provare un weekend o un giorno in cui lavoro da casa e tenerla dalla mattina alla sera. Non vedo l'ora!
Sleek - Matte Me Liquid Lipstick | €5,95
This was the only product that wasn't new to me in the Mystery Box. Just last year I bought a Sleek's Matte Me liquid lipstick in the colour Birthday Suit. This time I received a very 90's classic brown called Roasted Almond. They last a long time, are cheap, have many color options, and are easy to build up. This one, as it's dark, I can also apply it with a brush to have a more natural look.
Questo era l'unico prodotto che non mi era nuovo all'interno della Mystery Box. Giusto l'anno scorso avevo comprato un rossetto liquido Matte Me di Sleek nella colorazione Birthday Suit. Questa volta ho ricevuto un classico marrone molto anni 90 che si chiama Roasted Almond. Durano a lungo, costano poco, hanno molte varietà di colore e sono facilmente modulabili. Questo essendo scuro lo posso anche applicare con un pennellino per avere un look più naturale.

Anni fa trovavo l'idea delle mistery box fantastica. Ora che conosco benissimo le esigenze di pelle e capelli e i gusti in fatto di makeup sono chiarissimi questo concetto ha perso di fascino. Ho "paura" di ricevere qualcosa che andrà sprecato perché non conforme ai miei gusti e alle mie necessità 🙃
