This morning I woke up calmly, ate breakfast, and took a lot of photos for the blog. A few days ago it was my birthday and I had a beautiful party at home surrounded by the people I love. Obviously, they know me well and beauty and Harry Potter themed gifts were not lacking! My boyfriend gave me a ring light that I immediately test to take the photos of today's post. What do you think? I can't wait to use it during the dark winter days. I love it!

Questa mattina mi sono sveglia tranquillamente, ho fatto colazione e mi sono messa a scattare molte foto per il blog. Qualche giorno era il mio compleanno e ho fatto una bellissima festa a casa circondata dalle persone che amo. Ovviamente mi conoscono bene e regali a tema beauty ed Harry Potter non sono mancati! Il mio ragazzo mi ha regalato una ring light che ho messo subito alla prova per scattare le foto del post di oggi. Cosa ne pensate? Non vedo l'ora di utilizzarla durante le giornate buie d'inverno. La adoro!

Everyday Essentials

For my birthday I received from my sister this beautiful set of Real Techniques: Everyday Essentials which contains 4 brushes and the famous foundation sponge. Over the years I have tried all the brushes in the kit and I love them all. They are ultra soft and with synthetic bristles.

Per il compleanno ho ricevuto da mia sorella questo bellissimo set di Real Techniques: Everyday Essentials che contiene 4 pennelli e la famosa spugna per il fondotinta. Durante gli anni ho provato tutti i pennelli presenti nel kit e li adoro tutti. Sono ultra morbidi e con setole sintetiche.

The last Real Techniques brushes I bought are the blush brush and the setting brush. I loved them both from the first use. Too bad that the blush brush got ruined immediately because the bristles opened and damaged. So I had to throw it away. But the setting brush is still perfect. Now I have two so I can use one for the highlighter and one to fix the powder around the eyes. This is also perfect for blending liquid concealer.

Gli ultimi pennelli Real Techniques che ho comprato sono il blush brush e il setting brush. Entrambi li ho adorati dal primo utilizzo. Peccato che il blush brush si è rovinato subito perché le setole si sono aperte e rovinate. Quindi ho dovuto buttarlo via. Però il setting brush è ancora perfetto. Ora ne ho due così posso utilizzarne uno per l'illuminante e uno per fissare la cipria nella zona del contorno occhi. Questo è perfetto anche per sfumare il correttore liquido.

The alternative to the Beauty Blender

When it comes to foundation I often vary in application. Lately, I use a Cotoneve sponge that I hate. Although I damp it, it remains hard and is not soft at all during the application. Recently, a Morphe foundation brush broke and I was left with only one that I don't like because it's pointed. This Real Techniques kit is perfect because in addition to the brushes inside there is the famous sponge. I tried the original Beauty Blender and it has nothing to envy to this one, which costs much less with the same results!

Quando si tratta di fondotinta vario spesso nell'applicazione. Ultimamente utilizzo una spugnetta di Cotoneve che odio. Nonostante la bagno con l'acqua rimane dura e non è per niente soffice durante l'applicazione. Recentemente mi si è rotto un pennello Morphe per il fondotinta e ne sono rimasto solo con uno che non mi piace perché a punta. Questo kit Real Techniques è perfetto perché oltre ai pennelli al suo interno c'è la famosa spugnetta. Io ho provato l'originale Beauty Blender e non ha nulla ad invidiare a questa, che costa molto meno con gli stessi risultati!

The best foundation brush

The first quality brush I bought, chosen after the first YouTube videos (aaah the nostalgia of 2014) was the expert face brush. Unfortunately, after years I had to replace it with other brushes but no one could match it. This is the best foundation brush that can exist. The shape is perfect, it is compact but soft at the same time. It spreads and blends the product flawlessly without leaving marks on the face. Perfect for the concealer too. I can't wait to use it again, I had missed it.

Il primo pennello di qualità che ho comprato, scelto dopo i primi video su YouTube (aaah la nostalgia del 2014) è stato l'expert face brush. Purtroppo dopo anni ho dovuto sostituirlo con altri pennelli ma nessuno poteva eguagliarlo. Il miglior pennello per fondotinta che possa esistere. La forma è perfetta, è compatto ma morbido allo stesso tempo. Stende e sfuma il prodotto in maniera impeccabile senza lasciare segni sul viso. Perfetto anche per il correttore. Non vedo l'ora di utilizzarlo di nuovo, mi era mancato.

You can't live without a blending brush

If you are just starting out and want to create a brush collection or if you are new to makeup and want to experiment, a blending brush is the one that can never be missing in your makeup bag. I grew up on tutorials and blending. The secret to making any makeup look more beautiful is to blend the eyeshadow. Just use a single nude color on the entire eyelid, blend it well and be perfect. This one is the deluxe crease brush, I have the very first version and I use it to blend the concealer. But I will definitely use this for eyeshadows!

Se siete agli inizi e volete crearvi una collezione di pennelli o se siete alle prime armi con il makeup e volete sperimentare, un pennello da sfumatura è quello che non può mai mancare nella vostra trousse. Sono cresciuta a tutorial e sfumature. Il segreto per rendere ogni trucco più bello è sfumare l'ombretto. Basta anche utilizzare un solo colore nude su tutta la palpebra, sfumarlo per bene ed essere perfetti. Questo nel set è il deluxe crease brush, io ho la primissima versione e lo utilizzo per sfumare il correttore. Ma questo sicuramente lo utilizzerò per gli ombretti!
