Lately, I'm really busy and on the weekends I always have a lot of things to do and I have zero time to write on the blog. But my favorite time of year has finally arrived as well as my usual post about my beauty advent calendar! Let's find out more about it.
"It's the most wonderful time of the year"! Ebbene sì, finalmente il periodo natalizio è finalmente arrivato. Ultimamente sono davvero molto presa e il weekend ho sempre mille impegni e il tempo per scrivere sul blog scarseggia. Ma il periodo dell'anno che preferisco è finalmente arrivato così come l'appuntamento fisso con il mio calendario dell'avvento beauty! Scopriamo quello di quest'anno.
This year I decided to overdo it and spend slightly more than usual. LookFantastic didn't offer an interesting advent calendar so I decided to try Sephora's for this Christmas 2021. I was looking for a calendar that offered a good number of makeup and skincare products.
Quest'anno ho deciso di strafare e spendere leggermente di più rispetto al solito. LookFantastic non ha proposto un calendario dell'avvento interessante quindi ho deciso di provare quello di Sephora per questo Natale 2021. Ero alla ricerca di un calendario che offrisse una buon numero di prodotti makeup e skincare.

Yesterday I found The Ordinary's hyaluronic acid which, if you remember, I had already tried some time ago. What to say! I loved it so I was really happy to receive it again (plus in full size)! It leaves the skin super hydrated and is perfect as a serum during these cold months where the skin tends to dry out more than usual.
Ieri ho trovato l'acido ialuronico di The Ordinary che, se vi ricordate, avevo già provato tempo fa. Che dire! L'ho adorato quindi sono stata davvero contenta di riceverlo nuovamente (per di più in full size)! Lascia la pelle super idratata ed è perfetto come siero durante questi mesi freddi dove la pelle tende a seccarsi di più del solito.
On the first of December, however, I started the Christmas period in the best way: with a Fenty Beauty product! I had never tried anything from Fenty so I was really happy to start the advent calendar like this. Diamond Bomb is a super glittery highlighter and eyeshadow. But the great thing is that it doesn't leave white color, but it's pure and simple glitter. A perfect touch for any makeup during the holidays. Moreover, the consistency is almost buttery, I love it !!
Il primo di dicembre, invece, ho iniziato il periodo natalizio nel migliore dei modi: con un prodotto Fenty Beauty! Non avevo mai provato nulla di Fenty quindi sono stata davvero felicissima nell'iniziare il calendario dell'avvento così. Diamond Bomb è un illuminante e ombretto super glitterato. Ma la cosa bella è che non lascia il colore bianco di base, ma è puro e semplice glitter. Un tocco perfetto per ogni makeup sotto le feste. Inoltre la consistenza è quasi burrosa, mi piace tantissimo!!
On the second day of December, I opened the box and discovered a new brand I had never heard of! Rare Beauty is Selena Gomez's line of makeup. I didn't even know it existed! Initially, I thought it was very dark from the packaging but it is my favorite color: fearless. The best part is the texture. Pazzesco remains soft and velvety all the time, despite the fact that the finish is opaque. Wow, good Selena! This is a great liquid lipstick.
Il secondo giorno di dicembre ho aperto la casellina e ho scoperto un nuovo brand mai sentito! Rare Beauty è la linea di makeup di Selena Gomez. Non ne sapevo neanche dell'esistenza! Inizialmente dalla confezione pensavo fosse molto scuro invece è il mio colore preferito: fearless. L'aspetto migliore è la consistenza. Pazzesco resta morbido e vellutato tutto il tempo, nonostante poi il finish sia opaco. Wow, brava Selena! Questo si che è un ottimo rossetto liquido.

Ahhh, I'm so envious!! This advent calendar is like, a beauty lover's dream! The advent calendars I've seen here in the Philippines are the usual ones with sample sized products (not to mention a bit overpriced for the small items you get) so this one's suuuuper cool to me. Wish we had this here too! Thanks for sharing!! :)
ReplyDeleteI know, right? This advent calendar is insane and every day I'm super excited! There are so many brands that create amazing advent calendars: LookFantastic, Feelunique, Zalando, Asos. Maybe some of them ship to Philippines as well ❤️
