Beauty of Joseon Discovery Kit: the skincare lover’s must-have
Hello! Today I’m finally back to writing on the blog. Christmas has been a real source of inspiration. Some time ago, I received this wonderful set of Korean serums as a gift, the Hanbang Serum Discovery Kit by Beauty of Joseon, and I simply couldn’t share it with you.

This Korean brand has become increasingly well-known and popular over time. I’ve already tried their cleansing balm and their SPF stick: both absolutely fantastic! That’s why I was so curious to explore more of their products, and this kit offers the perfect opportunity to try 4 different serums, each targeting a specific skin concern.
Questo brand coreano ormai è diventato molto famoso e conosciuto nel tempo. Io ho già provato il loro balsamo struccante e l'SPF in formato stick: davvero favolosi! Per questo ero super curiosa di provare altri prodotti e in questo kit c'è la possibilità di provare ben 4 sieri dalle diverse priorità.
These serums are inspired by Hanbang (한방), traditional Korean medicine, and include the following products (listed in the same order as in the last photo, from red to green):

Revive Serum – Ginseng + Snail Mucin
This deeply nourishing serum blends ginseng root water with snail mucin to combat signs of ageing, improve elasticity and refresh tired skin. It’s ideal if you’re after a more youthful, revitalised complexion.
Un siero rigenerante e nutriente che combina ginseng e bava di lumaca per migliorare elasticità, compattezza e segni del tempo. Perfetto per pelli mature o spente, ma adatto anche come boost anti-age preventivo.
Glow Deep Serum – Rice + Alpha-Arbutin
The rice-based formula is designed to brighten dullness and even skin tone. With rice bran water and alpha-arbutin, it works on pigmentation while adding hydration and a luminous, healthy glow.
Il siero illuminante per eccellenza: la presenza dell’estratto di riso e dell’alpha-arbutina lo rende ideale per attenuare discromie, macchie e incarnato spento, donando luminosità e uniformità.
Glow Serum – Propolis + Niacinamide
Rich and slightly honey-like in texture, this serum combines propolis extract and niacinamide to target inflammation, blemishes and uneven texture. It also helps calm breakouts and boost radiance, making it great for combination or acne-prone skin.
Dalla texture leggermente più ricca, questo siero è perfetto per pelli miste o a tendenza acneica. La propoli ha proprietà calmanti e antibatteriche, mentre la niacinamide aiuta a migliorare la grana della pelle e a uniformare l’incarnato.
Calming Serum – Green Tea + Panthenol
This gentle serum is all about soothing, calming and reinforcing the skin’s barrier. With green tea-leaf water and panthenol at its heart, it helps reduce irritation, redness and sensitivity - perfect for reactive or stressed skin.
Un siero lenitivo e riequilibrante, formulato per calmare la pelle sensibile o stressata. Il tè verde aiuta a ridurre rossori e irritazioni, mentre il pantenolo rinforza la barriera cutanea e migliora l’idratazione.
