I've been taking extra care of my skin lately. I'm finally using all the products I found in the advent calendar and some of the beauty-themed Christmas gifts I received (like the awesome Origins set). And I have to admit that some products are really making a difference. My skin is brighter, hydrated, and plumped. Since most of the time I work from home I have more time to dedicate myself to the care of my skin and obviously, a step that cannot be missed is the face mask. Today I want to share my passion for Lush masks with you!

Ultimamente mi sto prendendo extra cura della mia pelle. Finalmente sto utilizzando tutti i prodotti che ho trovato nel calendario dell'avvento e alcuni dei regali di Natale che ho ricevuto a tema beauty (come il fantastico set Origins). E devo ammettere che alcuni prodotti stanno facendo davvero la differenza. La mia pelle è più luminosa, idratata e rimpolpata. Dal momento che la maggior parte del tempo lavoro da casa ho più tempo per dedicarmi la cura della mia pelle e ovviamente uno step che non può mancare è la maschera per il viso. Oggi voglio condividere con voi la mia passione per le maschere Lush!

Support a cruelty-free brand

Let's shed some light on this issue. In Italy and in Europe it is forbidden to test on animals. Therefore, it is not necessary to say "cruelty-free" because surely the product you are using has not been tested on animals. The problem is that many multinationals export their products where there are no laws regarding this and were, like the Asian markets, animal testing is mandatory. This is why I always invite you to support a brand that is 100% cruelty-free since it is useless to buy the green version of a product that sells all over the world and in any case test on animals.

Per questo vi invito sempre a supportare un brand che sia al 100% cruelty-free dal momento che è inutile acquistare la versione green di un prodotto che vende in tutto il mondo e comunque testa sugli animali.

What I love most about Lush masks are the ingredients. Natural, real, in pieces. There are no secrets, there are no chemical scents. Nature gives us wonderful ingredients so why not use them? Quello che amo maggiormente delle maschere Lush sono gli ingredienti. Naturali, veri, a pezzi. Non ci sono segreti, non ci sono profumi chimici. Every now and then I happen (and I guess it will have happened to you too) to apply a face mask, remove it, and not notice any difference. This never happens with Lush. From the mask with the scrub, glow, moisturizing effect. Every time I remove a Lush mask, I feel a different skin. It's soft, velvety, hydrated, fresh. Each time my skin is new and I finally notice a real result. Because in the end, that's what we want right?

Ogni tanto mi capita (e immagino sarà successo anche a voi) di applicare una maschera per il viso, rimuoverla e non notare nessuna differenza. Con Lush non accade mai questo. Dalla maschera con effetto scrub, luminoso, idratante ogni volta che rimuovo una maschera Lush sento la pelle completamente diversa. È idratata, vellutata, morbida, fresca. Ogni volta la mia pelle è rinata e finalmente noto un risultato reale. Perché alla fine è quello che vogliamo no?
