This month: TV series, books, and spring
Can you also feel that breeze in the air? That fresh air on hot days? The birds have woken up, spring is in the air! This is why I want to write a chatty post, talking about the season that is coming and my latest passions on books and TV series. The last time I wrote a post about the past month was a year ago now. Sometimes I like being able to write about the passions of the moment.
La sentite anche voi quella brezza nell'aria? Quell'aria fresca durante le calde giornate? Gli uccellini si sono svegliati, la primavera è nell'aria! Per questo ho voglia di scrivere un post chiacchiericcio, parlando della stagione che sta arrivando e delle mie ultime passioni a tema libri e serie tv. L'ultima volta che ho scritto un post sul mese passato è stato ormai un anno fa. Ogni tanto mi piace poter scrivere sulle passioni del momento.
Sex Education, The Bold Type & more
As you well know, I'm a great lover of TV series, but the main problem is that after that I become obsessed with it. I love being informed about everything behind the series, following the characters, listening to their interviews and much more. As you know, I'm a huge fan of The Bold Type and the fourth season has started. Last year I told you I was waiting for the third one, but then I didn't tell you what I thought of it. Unfortunately, it was the season that thrilled me the least. Less twists, less plot, I found it a little superficial. Instead the fourth is FANTASTIC! I'm at the episode eight (only 2 left!) And I'm loving it.
Come ben sapete sono una grande amante delle serie TV, ma il problema principale è che dopo ne divento ossessionata. Adoro informarmi su ogni cosa dietro la serie, seguire i personaggi, ascoltare loro interviste e molto altro. Come ben sapete sono una grande fan di The Bold Type ed è iniziata la quarta stagione. L'anno scorso vi avevo detto che stavo aspettando la terza, ma poi non vi ho detto cosa ne ho pensato. Purtroppo è stata la stagione che mi ha entusiasmata di meno. Meno colpi di scena, meno trama, l'ho trovata un po' superficiale. Invece la quarta è FANTASTICA! Sono all'ottava puntata (ne mancano solo 2!) e la sto adorando. The Bold Type non parla solo di 3 amiche che lavorano presso una rivista di moda, ma trattano argomenti molto importanti che secondo me vanno trattate nelle serie tv: omosessualità, carriera, tumori, paure, femminismo e molto altro.

Also, a few weeks ago, taken from curiosity because everyone was talking about it, I started watching Sex Education. I have heard very well about this TV series and since programs that deal with important topics are very close to my heart, I decided to start watching it. The first two episodes left me a little perplexed, and the problem wasn't the sex. It was simply very strange. Then, episode after episode I started to love Sex Education more and more because you can understand the complexity behind each character. It's important, in my opinion, to talk about a topic that is so taboo, where are young people themselves who have fears and curiosities about it. But, which I really appreciate in The Bold Type too, they manage to deal with very complicated issues such as abortion, drugs, bullying, homosexuality, and sex itself, in a sublime way.
I'm talking too much about series, forgive me. But I absolutely have to inform you of my new favorite cartoon: We Bare Bears. Watch some episodes, because they are simply fantastic and every episode I laugh a lot because they are really nice. In addition, I also finished Young Sheldon. If you are a fan of The Big Bang Theory like me, you will certainly love the miniature version of Sheldon.
Inoltre, qualche settimana fa, presa dalla curiosità perché tutti ne parlavano ho iniziato a guardare Sex Education. Ho sentito parlare davvero benissimo di questa serie TV e dal momento che programmi che trattano temi importanti mi stanno molto a cuore ho deciso di iniziarla. Le prime due puntate mi hanno lasciata un po' perplessa, e il problema non era il sesso. Era semplicemente molto strana. Poi, puntata dopo puntata ho iniziato ad amare Sex Education sempre di più, perché riesci a capire la complessità dietro ogni personaggio. È importante secondo me parlare di un argomento che è così taboo, raccontarlo dai giovani stessi che hanno paure e curiosità a riguardo. Ma, cosa che apprezzo molto in The Bold Type, riescono ad affrontare temi molto complicati come l'aborto, la droga, il bullismo, l'omosessualità e il sesso stesso, in maniera sublime.
Mi sto dilungando troppo a parlare di serie, perdonatemi. Però devo assolutamente informarvi del io nuovo cartone animato preferito: Siamo Solo Orsi. Guardateli, perché sono semplicemente fantastici e ogni puntata rido tantissimo perché sono davvero simpaticissimi. Inoltre, ho terminato anche Young Sheldon. Se come me siete degli appassionati di The Big Bang Theory sicuramente adorerete anche la versione in miniatura di Sheldon.
Sunny and longer days
Non vedo l'ora di godermi le giornate calde all'aperto, delle belle passeggiate e giri in bicicletta. Purtroppo dobbiamo aspettare qualche settimana, ma sentire già il cambio di stagione è fantastico. Come ben sapete amo l'autunno, ma dopo un po' anch'io mi stanco delle giornate fredde. Quindi sentire gli uccellini cantare, le giornate che si allungano è impagabile. Inoltre, le giornate calde con una bella luce sono perfette per fare foto per il blog, quindi ne approfitto subito per fare molte foto così da avere mille foto pronte per tanti blog post.
Books over books
During this time I have read many books. After finishing, Feminists don't wear pink and other lies, I read two classics: The prince and the pauper Mark Twain and The Adventures of Robin Hood by Alexandre Dumas. I liked the first one very much, the second was also a pleasant reading. These days I'm reading Alle porte della vita by Romano Battaglia. He is one of my favorite authors and most of my favorite books are from him: Cielochiaro and Foglie. This book, on the other hand, is not as exciting to me as the others, but it is always nice.In questo periodo ho letto molti libri. Dopo aver terminato Feminists don't wear pink and other lies, ho letto due classici: Il principe e il povero Mark Twain e Le avventure di Robin Hood di Alexandre Dumas. Il primo mi è piaciuto tantissimo, anche il secondo è stata una piacevole lettura. In questi giorni sto leggendo Alle porte della vita di Romano Battaglia. Lui è uno dei miei autori e ho la maggior parte dei miei libri preferiti sono suoi: Cielochiaro e Foglie. Questo invece non mi sta entusiasmando come gli altri, ma comunque è sempre bello.

In questo periodo di isolamento forzato mi sto concentrando sui film, a breve passerò anche alle serie tv perché la quarantena sarà ancora lunga ahimè.

Mi informerò sul libro che stai leggendo ❤️ io ho terminato il libro di Romano Battaglia e ho iniziato a leggere per la seconda volta Girl Online. Così posso rileggere i primi 2 che non ricordo e ho acquistato il terzo!
